On February 22, 2017 “Feel the Future” Asia-Pacific Summit was hosted by AUX in Jakarta the capital of Indonesia. More than 500 distributors from Asia-Pacific joined in this summit. President Mr. Leng Ling, General Manager (for finance) Mr. Xin Ning and General Manager (for overseas marketing) Mr. Zhang Xuequan of AUX Manufacturing Group attended.
AUX Asia-Pacific Summit held a series of activities aimed at promoting trade, investment and technology with distributors in this region. AUX’s efforts would contribute to emergence of Chinese brands in Asia-Pacific and even the world.
As far as we know, the air-conditioning sector is the largest business of AUX Group. As guided by the internationalization strategy, the Group has invested 10% of the annual operating income in research and development to create smart products and set up a more stable quality assurance system. Currently, AUX exports to nearly 200 countries and regions and keeps the fastest growth rate for three years successively. It has achieved the CAGR of 130% in Asia-Pacific, much higher than the industry average.
At this summit, President Leng Ling of AUX Household Appliances Group introduced that these achievements were partly due to your trust and support in AUX, and partly due to improvements in core competitiveness in respect of advance technology, quality assurance and upgrading of manufacturing equipment. In 2016, AUX invested RMB 180m in “intelligent manufacturing”, which made its product repair rate lowered by over 50% for two years successively and the delivery efficiency increased by 30%; moreover, its integrated household and commercial smart factory has been constructed in the headquarters in China with an investment of RMB 2.3b and the annual capacity of 7m units. It is expected to put into operation at the end of 2017.
In the future, AUX will continue to improving product customization, increase investments in brand, establish strategic cooperation concerning technology, shareholding and brand, andplan a production and sales branch in Indonesia to cover the Asia-Pacific region and realize faster reaction.
Chairman Zheng Jianjiang of AUX Group advocates “a good product can market itself” and pursue for excellence. To achieve this, as the head of overseas R&D of AUX said, only “dedication” can make you “advanced”. Despite that many industry peers are developing diversified household appliances, AUX is and will be dedicated in deepening its expertise in air conditioning. It has set up an expert team of almost 100 members, an overseas frequency conversion institute, an overseas industrial design center, and a mold processing center, by which it has developed 10 series and over 100 categories of products, making the highest integrated investment in the industry. Distributors participating in the summit discussed and analyzed market demands around the theme of how to be leading in Asia-Pacific, and brainstormed on developing market-leading products.
As a distributor representative, Mr. Andy from Indonesia shared his experience in strategic cooperation with AUX and scale expansion. He has partnered with AUX for more than 10 years and benefited from substantial upgrading and improvement in the production and sales platform by AUX in recent years, combining a series of market promotion activities himself, including celebrity endorsement, marathon sponsorship in Indonesia and participation in charity events. With good brand awareness in the Asia-Pacific Region, its sales volume has grown by over 60% for two years successively.
